Bill Gates' AI Apologia - Trying to Stop the War With China
Bill Gates recently published an article articulating the risks faced by AI. He starts with the usual bogeymen of mass-unemployment (NB: in this blog, I maintain that ALL JOBS are fake, and so the "loss of jobs" is just the exhausted Utilitarian religion become socially untenable), cites the relative advantage of China in respect to physical automation and humanoids, and then, in classic PR-fashion, gets into the THESIS 1/3 of the way through his post:

AI, just "out there", just "existing", apparently not only menaces social order but also physical security - ok - got it. I'm scared.
... But, There Is Hope: More Globalism & Xi-coordination!
Finally, Gates gets to the point:
... some cooperation between the U.S. and China will be required.
Ah - and there it is - the oligarchy representing old Fabian-Theosophist "enlightened self-interest" has spoken: Trump's confrontation with Xi so fundamentally threatens them, the oligarchy, itself, that it demands a reconciliation between Trump and Xi... or else, presumably AI... or a "plausible AI", will crash the economy and lead to another Depression.
War With China Beckons, and Gates Fears Being a Scapegoat
War with China beckons, and in the ensuing crisis, Gates knows he will be purged fairly early-on in the crisis, as the administration quickly seeks scapegoats for setbacks and casualties in the current trade war with China, which eventually escalates into a shooting war and nationwide draft.
Seeing the looming crisis, Gates makes a final attempt to publicly lead a course-reversal, away from the AI-driven trade war: the parallel US-Chinese AI economies under-cutting one-another and building massive global overcapacity.
Gates knows that in the current trade war, Xi and Trump both push massive over-capacity, with only capitulation from one side the answer to avoiding catastrophic economic losses and social upheaval. With neither side willing to absorb those losses, it proves far easier to simply engage in a world-war to shift losses from the capital to political markets.
Addendum: ICE and Flock Cameras Are For Draft-Dodgers
Consistent with, "Your rulers hate you," ICE and "Flock" cameras serve the same strategic agenda: enforcing a national draft for the upcoming war.
Just as DHS, which started as a chauvinist anti-Muslim organization but became yet another instrument for violating the Constitutional rights of Americans and chilling freedom, ICE likewise evolves from chasing illegal immigrants to "non-compliant draftees": Ice soon becomes the actual "boot" on white America's face, for its final exploitation and exhaustion in the upcoming slaughter.
