This past week, we witnessed a global pivot of previously US-aligned countries becoming either non-aligned (India) or outright pro-Chinese (Indonesia):

The US has run short of "clever tricks" to use on the Xi-led Neo-Soviet alliance: for every clever American diplomatic move, Xi executes a well-played counter.
Where Xi and his "alliance" can not move in comfort is within a war, and this is why: war fundamentally de-fangs the PBoC and pulls all the fundamentally paper-thin "non-aligned" states into a very unstable political equilibrium, vulnerable to revolution and coups executed by intelligence agencies.
The US has goaded China in every possible theatre to start a war - the US finally got one, but only after China felt she maximized her alliance going into the conflict.

Xi knows better than anyone that war in Asia punishes China, eventually: for how long would the market bless China with low-yields on her sovereign bonds, when the first losses against the Japanese and Americans become apparent, or when China loses the bulk of her satellite network (almost all of which is American-derived, by design, during the "empower China to counter-USSR period" of the Sino-American alliance) .

War also means Brazil, finally, gets a proper coup: with metaphysical certainty, the commodity powerhouse, Brazil, has its Xi-aligned elite liquidated and replaced with MAGA partisans.
Argentina and Chile likewise gain the mandate for a final show-down between the Fascist and Leftist forces, but with the Leftist allies far away and pre-occupied with the Asian theatre.

Forget forgiveness and detente: those who did not pivot early to MAGA, during the absurd Trump-era, now face the post-democratic MAGA leadership. The ancien regime oligarchy, yet to capitulate, will be tried for treason, have assets nationalized, and then be publicly executed by firing squad.
Those migrants who have yet to assimilate will march in line, tout de suite, upon apprehending the danger of treason charges.
Notably, at no point will mass-deportations need to occur or even be advocated, as it will become consensus that, "we need men for the war".
